Books I'm Reading Now

Silent Power - I dont remember who recommended this book, but they said its really good. Its about not talking as much and getting more from just being silent and observant. I was into it until it started getting all metaphysical, and spiritual. The says that you have to feel people's energy field and communicate with their minds without talking. Yeah, really weird. D

Talking The Winners Way - This one is really good. The lady just gives small tips to use when talking to people. I realized that I'm a real bad communicator when talking to people. Its helped me a lot. And its not even big things either. Stuff like looking at people when you talk to them. And some more complicated techniques like "the flooding smile." Hard to explain. Good shit. A-

What Makes A Man - I just started reading this one. I got it cause in a world of alpha-male machismo, i need to plug myself into reality and figure out what really makes a man. Should be good. grade pending

The Low Down On Going Down - Cause you can never know enough about pleasuring a woman.

Terminaste

Finally, another semester over. And I am finally graduating from PBCC. And it only took me 6 years! Don't know what university I'm gonna sign with yet. Florida State is showing interest but I might want to hang out here and go to FAU. I was even thinking of going to a small liberal arts college where the emphasis is on learning and not partying. But we know that ain't gonna happen. Being as though I'm hoping to get my masters degree, I'm not really worrying about where the bachelor's degree comes from. Wow, bachelor's and master's degree. At the rate that I'm going at, I'll be done with school at 35. Holler.

Work It Out

In an effort to get off my lazy ass and get my shit together, I got a subscription to LA Fitness. I iust have to stick with it. That'll be a challenge since the only thing I've been able to stick with has been drinking. I never thought I'd say this, but I don't really like all the hot gym bunnies being there. I need to be concentrating on doing the workouts right and counting reps and sets. It's very distracting having a tight ass bending over in front of me. Hopefully I'll gain 25 pounds of pure muscle, move to hollywood and bang Jessica Alba. Wish me luck.

Quick Movie Review: Amityville Horror C+

There have been many horror remakes lately. I had my doubts about this one. But JR, the horror flick aficionado, recommended it. The fact that it's based on a true story gives it an eerie feeling from the onset. Apparently a family was murdered in Amityville, New York. And another family moved in reported having crazy experiences there.

The movie was made pretty well. It was scarier than I thought it would be. Hutter says it's the one of the scariest movies he's ever seen. I wouldn't go that far, but it was pretty freaky. There were just some things that they put in that pissed me off. The kid-that-befriends-the-dead gag has been played out for some time now. And little things that got ripped from other movies like the axe-dragging-on-the-floor bit ripped from the Cohen's brother's thrillers, and shit like that pissed me off.

But other than those small things the flick was good. I was going to give it a B minus, but it would be against my ethics to award a B to any movie in which the male lead is hotter than the female. It wasn't that she was ugly, but Ryan Reynolds looked so hot that they could've upped the eye candy for us males. C+

Paris and Nicole Hate Each Other?

Say it ain't so. My favortie reality girls apparently aren't friends anymore. Paris told a couple of mags that she doesn't talk to Nicole anymore. Apparently Paris is going to do the next season with Kimberly Stewart- Rod Stewart's daughter. You probably remember her from her biking escapades on the red carpet. I'll try to find the video for yall. Here's the news link .

Britney's Preggers

Britney Spears and Kevin "I Shoulda Been Born Black" Federline are expecting their first child. In a message posted on her website (which I visit religiously), Britney said, "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together. There are reports that I was in the hospital this weekend, and Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers."

Yes, we are praying Britney- that you'll have your kid and never release an album again!

Quick Joke of the Week

A guy came into a bar one day and said to the barman "Give me six double vodkas."

The barman says "Wow! you must have had one hell of a day."

"Yes, I've just found out my older brother is gay."

The next day the same guy came into the bar and asked for the same drinks. When the bartender asked what the problem was today the answer came back, "I've just found out that my younger brother is gay too!"

On the third day the guy came into the bar and ordered another six double vodkas.

The bartender said "Jesus! Doesn't anybody in your family like women?"

"Yeah, my wife..."

Quick Movie Review: Sin City A-

This movie did not disappoint. It's a really dark romance. The epitome of the film-noir genre. And Mickey Rourke as Marv, the bandaged up guy, is bad-ass. Critics will love this and regular movie-goers. Everyday people will like it becuase it looks really good and has cool action scenes. Critics will love it because director Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller bring the action and the look together to make a coherent story. Good shit.
