Shock and Awe Comes to Falluja -- Martial Law Declared
(excerpts from the Independent Newspaper)The biggest urban assault by US forces since the Vietnam War began Sunday night against the Iraqi rebel stronghold of Fallujah following days of heavy bombing of the city and its sealing-off to all traffic. Iraqi prime minister Ayad Allawi set the stage for the bloody confrontation by declaring martial law for the next sixty days. UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's warning about the consequences of the assault has been ignored by the White House.
Our good christian army will defeat those angry muslims!
